Car hire at the airport. We send a map, the satnav gives up at the last gravel road.

Over the bridge, E22 to Karlshamn, then north.
Train to Alvesta

From the station by taxi, or we pick you up for €45.
Ferry from Kiel

Overnight to Gothenburg, then four hours east.

Can we book two houses next to each other?
Yes. Houses 3 and 4 share a fire pit, 5 and 7 share a meadow. Tick both in the booking and we hold them together.
Is the lake safe for children?
The shore by houses 1 and 2 is sandy and shallow for twenty metres. Life jackets in every house, no lifeguard.
Are there mosquitoes?
In June, at dusk, yes. Every house has screens on the bedroom windows and a fan.
Can we fish?
With a county fishing card, sold online for SEK 90 a day. Pike and perch, the rowing boat is free.
Do you rent bikes?
Six bikes and a cargo bike in the barn, free. The forest roads are flat and empty.
